Clone didn’t work, and can’t log in

Hi there!

I’ve taken over a very out of date website, which I am trying to clone to test the multitude of updates it needs before I rebuild.

It says it’s cloned the site, but I just see a blank install there, and I can’t login to the dashboard with either my login details from the real site, or my updraft account logins.

Hi,

To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the migration log?
You can find this log in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of your new site location.
You can send the log file as an attachment or copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ )

Also, are you using the same WP version and PHP version on UpdraftClone?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly!

Definitely used the same PHP. The site is running WP 4.7.16 just left clone on the lowest, not sure what that was, sorry.

As the current site needs to stay live and it’s a complete mess, trying not to make any updates to it before I’ve tried them on a Clone first.

Thanks for sending the log.

It shows “0196.741 (0) The attempt to close the zip file returned an error (PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature).
