Hello. I purchased credits and created a clone of one of my websites. When the link was available to view, it only shows a completely white window. It does not show a clone of the site. Am I doing something incorrectly?

I just wanted to report that I am experiencing the same issue. Logs can be downloaded here:

It appears that there was an issue restoring some of the database fields.
This is possibly caused by a temporary issue in the UpdraftClone platform.I have restored the lost tokens.
Please could you both attempt a new clone migration?

However, after many hours of troubleshooting I was able to workaround the issue. I did this by logging into the clone (which oddly works) and manually restoring from the backup. I restored each item individually (plugins, then themes, then…). Finally after that I had a working clone.
My assumption is that the issue might stem from the size of the site? Our site is 1.1GB.

October 7, 2022 at 2:26 pm #1573959tltcoursesParticipantYeah, it took a few tokens for me to troubleshoot my way to a workaround… If it helps anyone, the issue for me is still present. When attempting to view a newly created clone, I get nothing but a blank page.
However, if you are able to access the login prompt, there may be hope. If you can login, you will likely encounter a stock looking WordPress install stuck in a failed recovery state. UpdraftPlus will be complaining that a recovery is “in process” and there will be a button to click to resume the restoration.
Clicking this button, no matter how many times, will result in immediate failure of the restoration.
I opened a support ticket and can say that the support offered by UpdraftPlus was pretty much a dead end.
So, I spend a day and a half troubleshooting. Chewing through quite a few tokens in the process. Ultimately this is the solution I discovered.
Instead of clicking the “resume” button for the failed recovery, start a new restoration from the backup that was created for the purpose of initializing the clone. Now the important part. In my experience, if I attempted to simply restore the entire backup at once, it would fail. So, what I wound up doing was restoring each item individually down the list (plugins, themes, uploads, etc.). Verifying that UpdraftPlus claimed the recovery was successful before moving onto the next item. Yes, this takes more time.
After restoring all items, I was able to start working with the clone.
Interestingly, I used UpdraftClone about a month ago and it worked flawlessly. The site hasn’t changed since then other than your usual automatic WordPress and plugin updates… So, it’s possible one of those updates broke things? I think it is more probable that something broke with UpdraftPlus as there have been many code changes to that plugin as well during this time.
Anyhow, hopefully this helps you guys navigate the blank screen issue.
