    Getting error:
Dropbox/Curl error: Error in call to API function “auth/token/revoke”: Must provide HTTP header “Authorization” or URL parameter “authorization”. (Dropbox_BadRequestException) (line: 216, file: /home/tigersys/tsicolumbus.com/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/Dropbox2/OAuth/Consumer/Curl.php

I have seen solutions in other threads, but I do not have access to the hosting. Only have WP access.

I have deleted the plugin and re-added it. I am using the latest version of updraft plus from the premium package.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
    Thank you.

    Hi Michel,

Can you try to re-authenticate your Dropbox storage by clicking on the link in ‘Authenticate with Dropbox:’. Then run a new backup.

Do you still get the same error?

This is happening when I try to “de-authorize the site”. I am trying to re-authorize it to get it in the correct folder on DropBox, but I cannot get it de-authorized first.

The backups run. They also move to dropbox, but in the wrong folder> the “updraft plus” folder. I am trying to get it to go to the “updraftplus.com” folder.

    Hi,

To de-authorise from the old Dropbox method:

    • Log into Dropbox.com and open your Account Settings
    • Open the Security tab, and find the Apps Linked section
    • Remove the UpdraftPlus app
    • In UpdraftPlus, remove all details from your Dropbox remote storage settings, and save.
    • The settings should update to show the simplified options of the new method
    • Re-authenticate with Dropbox

      Best Wishes,

    Hi Michael,

Apologies – there was a problem with Dropbox authentication in today’s 2.13.2 release. Please update to the just-released 2.13.3, which fixes this. (You will then need to authenticate again).
