Dropbox/Curl error: v1_retired

Can’t authenticate Dropbox – getting:
Dropbox/Curl error: v1_retired (Dropbox_BadRequestException) (line: 169, file: /home/logisdul/public_html/bar-ox-records.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/Dropbox/OAuth/Consumer/Curl.php)
Site is https and Updraft is up to date

Hi Shannon,

Are you sure that UpdraftPlus is up to date? The file you mentioned hasn’t existed in any released version of UpdraftPlus for a long time, and the error message indicates Dropbox v1 code from around 18 months ago. (Dropbox no longer support the interface used in that version, it was replaced by v2 around 2 years ago). What is the version number of UpdraftPlus shown on your settings or plugin pages?

Hi – version is Version 2.11.29.1 – no update alert on admin screen

Hi Shannon,

Make sure that the plugin is connected to our license server so it automatically receive an updates when there are new releases.
You also need to have a valid license so you will continue to receive updates.
