Error – Connect to Updraft Plus Vault

Hi,

I would like to connect my website to your new UpdraftPlus Vault. However, I get a Disconnect error: Error – UpdraftPlus.Com returned a response which we could not understand (data: )

Also the login form to connect doesn’t show up in Firefox 39.

Please advice

I should probably add that the site is a multi-site instillation.

Please try again now – this should be fixed now.

Concerning Firefox 39 – can you send us a screenshot, please? We can’t reproduce that error. We also have been using Firefox 39 since its release.
Note that Firefox tries to remember page state , and sometimes does it wrongly. Does the form appear if you un-tick and then re-tick the UpdraftPlus Vault storage checkbox?

yes, the problem is fixed. I’m connected now. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately I can’t send you a screenshot of the form. Everything works fine now. Maybe because I cleared the cache?

However, the problem was when I clicked on ‘connect’ the form didn’t show up and the screen jumped back to the top of the page.

Hi Thomas,

Great – glad it’s working now.

It sounds like with the form the page just hadn’t finished loading. Most jQuery-powered things (and all the effects on the UD settings page are jQuery) don’t start working until the page finishes loading.
