Error installing migrator

Other plugins are working well, but with installing the migrator i get this error:

Installing the latest version…
Removing the old version of the plugin…
Could not remove the old plugin.
Plugin update failed.
Return to Plugins page

I get back, and Updraftplus is deactivated. Also updating Updraftplus results in the same error. How to solve this?

Also deleting the plug is not possible…., i installed it manually, because it was to big to install it wih the files

Hi Jeroen,

You’re having a problem with the way file permissions are set up on your webserver. It sounds like when you install manually, the resulting permissions are too tight to allow WordPress itself (via PHP) to touch the resulting files. Try using FTP to change the file permissions and make them more liberal.

I did a 777 to the whol Updraftplus-map and now it works…
