Updraft has been perfect. I’m now receiving this error:
“Errors
The required mcrypt PHP module is not installed – ask your web hosting company to enable it.”
My host had just sent this: “We would like to announce the implementation of PHP 5.4, on all of our servers. PHP 5.3 is officially in its “end of life” phase, which means that it will not be supported or improved anymore by the maintainers of PHP.
Could this be the reason for my errors running Updraft?
Yes, it sounds like their PHP install doesn’t include the necessary standard ‘mcrypt’ module – you’ll need to ask them to activate this in the PHP install.
