I recently added a DreamObjects destination to my automatic backups. The first run resulted in the following errors on the store to DreamObjects:

UpdraftPlus_S3::completeMultipartUpload(): [404] Unexpected HTTP status: DreamObjects re-assembly error

(UpdraftPlus_S3::completeMultipartUpload(): [404] Unexpected HTTP status): (see log file for more)

    Will attach my log….

    Hi,

It appears that an unexpected error is occurring when attempting to reassemble one of the files.
Please could you check if DreamObjects has an error log available?

    Best Wishes,
    David N

I looked but there does not appear to be an error log on the DreamObjects side. It also looks like the backup file in question was transferred and stored on DreamObjects even though UpdraftPlus thought there was an error.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay.

In this case, it appears that there was a communications error between UpdraftPlus and DreamObjects.

Has the error repeated on subsequent backups?

Yes it has. I saw it quite a few times yesterday and a few times on other
occasions. It may be a problem with DreamHost¹s service? Do you want to
check with as well? The situation with DreamObjects is unreliable enough
at times that I am forced to use an alternative backup store until its
figured out. If you make some progress and would like we to test this some
    more, let me know.

    Hi Fred,

Would it be possible to allow us access to WP Admin, so we can test backing up to Dropbox first-hand?

If so, could you send us the details here as a private reply, or via our customer support form?
(If sending via the form, please ask for the ticket to be assigned to David N)

    Best Wishes,
    David N
