Excluding Items from Uploads

Hi,

When in settings at “Include in files backup”, when trying to exclude items from the Uploads section (I’m assuming here it references the wp-uploads folder, correct?), I would enter the folder name (example: pictures_hi_res) in there. However, the backup doesn’t seem to understand the syntax and all items in the wp-uploads folder were backed up. Any ideas why?

Hi Keith,

Yes you are correct, the syntax for that field is it needs to be a comma separated values.

Please can you ensure that the value in that input box has no spaces and each value is separated by a comma to exclude your “pictures_hi_res” folder the input would be as follows:

backup*,*backups,backwpup*,wp-clone,pictures_hi_res

If that doesn’t work can you please copy what you have in the input box here?
