Hi Gerrard,
Well, whatever is restored is meant to end up the same on the ‘new’ side as on the ‘old’ side. Things only tend to get awkward if inter-dependent components are restored in multiple steps instead of at the same time (e.g. a plugin + database are restored in two steps, and the plugin tweaks the database in the middle when it doesn’t see what it was expecting). If that’s happening to you, then it’s best to restore both at once (i.e. in the same operation).

If it seems that the database post-restoration ends up different to what it should be, then you can compare by hand the resulting database with the database backup file. The former can be read through your hosting company’s SQL control panel, which probably has phpMyAdmin somewhere (or use the plugin “SQL Executioner” if you can type SQL by hand) – the latter can be read by using 7-zip (https://7-zip.org) to decompress the database file and then opening it in a text editor. That they should be different sounds like magic – but I’ve learnt that with 60,000 users of UD, some ‘interesting’ things sometimes happen!

Your IP address was in that dump. I’ve whitelisted you now. (Though, your sysadmin will probably want to know that Cloudflare have marked your IP as suspicious for some reason). You should be able to proceed.

I’ve white-listed your IP addresses now, so you should be able to connect. You might want to alert your hosting company that Cloudflare consider their servers as suspect (probably they host websites with malware on them).

I have the same issue, I believe. I downloaded and installed the plugin fine on a multisite install on my local machine, which I need to migrate to a staging server for the client to review.
However, when I submit my account details I get an error that says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

I’ll stick my Yahoo account into my profile instead, just in case it’s meeting resistance from the company mail server.
This isn’t really a sustainable way of solving this problem, though, is it? If I can’t even get it to work locally out of the box, I don’t have high hopes for being able to deploy on the stage or the live server. Either way, the client needs to see this today, so if I can’t get it working I’ll need to look at alternatives.
