FTP Remote Storage back-up

Hello David,

when attempting to back-up a fresh install on a remote location via FTP, I receive an error.

Server

• Windows VPS

Error Message

FTP settings test result: Failure: we successfully logged in, but were not able to create a file in the given directory.
Messages:
* PHP event: code: E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput(): php_connect_nonb() failed: Operation now in progress (115) (line 770, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/addonssftp.php)
* PHP event: code: E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput(): Type set to I (line 770, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/addonssftp.php)

Could this be due to incompatible php server configuration?

Hi Michael,

PHP emits this rather cryptic message when an FTP communication fails due to a firewalling issue. Usually it means that the FTP server is behind a NAT firewall which is not translating addresses correctly, but there may be other firewalling issues that could cause it.
