How can I share access to UDC with a team member?

With two factor authentication, it requires me to check my phone for the authentication code when I log in to UDC. This is fine if it’s me doing it, however I’d like to have one of my team members be able to run updates on a regular basis using UDC. Is there a way to do this – to create a separate login, and/or set up the authentication app for a second person?

Hi,

I’m afraid that UpdraftCentral does not currently have a dedicated method to share an account.

However, multiple UpdraftCentral accounts can be connected to a single UpdraftPlus installation.
All UpdraftPlus.com accounts come with a complimentary 5 UpdraftCentral site licences.
As such, you can set up a new account, and connect it to the UpdraftPlus installation. This will allow your colleague to run updates.

Alternatively, to give access to your main account, multiple devices can be set up with two factor authentication. Just scan the QR code, or enter the key, as normal on a second device.
