    Hello,

our customer needs to migrate WordPress to a new Hosting Partner.
We have done this many times, but now there is a new situation.

We have got a staging page at the new Hosting Partner where we did many SEO optimizations. And we have got the live page (at old Hosting Partner) without these optimizations but with many new orders and many new customers in WooCommerce.

If we migrate the live page from old hosting partner to new hosting partner, we will lose all SEO optimizations.
Is there a way only to migrate the content of WooCommerce (Orders, Products, Coupons, Customers…) to the staging page at the new Hosting Partner, using UpDraft Backup?

That would save us a lot of time.

    Kind regards,
    Bernhard

    Hi,

That is not going to be particularly easy, please see here for a guide: ps://webappick.com/woocommerce-database-schema-explained/
If the optimisations are the on the posts themselves, then leave out the post and post_meta tables from the backup/restore to avoid loosing them. I would also leave out the tables for the SEO plugin that are using from the backup/restore. I would advise trying this on a clone or a test site first.
