In the last month, whenever I run a full backup, the log files stored in the wordpress updraft folder have been really big and I’ve had a couple of error logs which are 3GB. This completely wipes out my storage on my hosting provider. The general logs used to be 1-2kb and in the last 2 months they have increased in size to between 30-40kb and then on Friday it was 3.3MB with zip errors occurring on each folder. First of all, is there a way to reduce the number of logs kept in the Updraft folder to say the last two months? Secondly, the zip error code I’m getting is 14 – The attempt to close the zip file returned an error (). Do you know the cause of this?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Claire,

You can delete the logs directly via FTP in the “wp-content/updraft” folder of your WordPress install.

“14 – The attempt to close the zip file returned an error ()”, this means that your server disk space is already full. Please ensure that there is more than enough space for your new backups.

    Regards,
