I have used the free version of UpdraftPlus so far, and the interface language was set to Dutch (as is my webiste)
Today I purchased and installed the Premium version, and the interface language now is English.
I cannot find the option to set the interface language. Were should I look?
UpdraftPlus uses the setting located in WordPress >> Settings >> General >> Site Language. If this was already set to Dutch when you installed the plugin – would it be possible for you to share login credentials via a private reply please?
The website was already in Dutch when UpdraftPlus was installed, and the free version was also in Dutch.
When I de-activated the free version, deleted it, and installed the Premium version the website was still in Dutch, but UpdraftPlus was now in English?
I have the WPML Language plugin installed, with standard language Dutch. I feel that that could be a possible conflict?
I de-activated WPML, re-saved that language in wordpress setting, but UpdraftPlus was still in English…
That did the trick!
Something weird happened though.
When I re-installed UpdraftPlus Premium and activated it, I noticed that an update was required. The current version was 2.23.14.0 and after updating it was 2.23.14.26. Only after refreshing the page the language was switched to Dutch.
Anyhow, everything is working fine now. Thanks for the support!
