Hello, I needed to move my site from subdomain to root and I used the migration addon as I usually do.
This time I cannot login to my new site anymore, this is what I get when trying http://www.mlinformatics.com/wp-admin:
    https://www.mlinformatics.com/login?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mlinformatics.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

    Any suggestion? Thank you

    Hi Francesca,

Could you send us a copy of the migration log? This can be found in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of the new site location. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin and post the link here. You can also set your reply to private if you prefer.

From your description, the most likely cause of the issue is that the ‘Search/Replace Database’ operation was not enabled for the restoration. If this is the case, we have a guide on resolving this situation available here:

    Best Wishes,

    Hi Francesca,

It looks like you have a plugin installed which tries to hide the WordPress login URL. I would recommend de-activating this before taking the backup on the source site. Or, if you know how it’s doing its tricks (perhaps via a line in .htaccess?), you can try de-activating it on the destination site (or just remove it from wp-content/plugins – but, your front-end will then not appear until you login, whereupon WP will de-activate it).

Thank you so much, the plug in Sf Move Login caused the problem. I removed it via ftp and now everything works fine.
I just can’t understand why it caused such problem, it wasn’t active when I migrated and I’ve already used it on many sites without problems.
    Thank you again!
