Hi there,
Just did my first migration and so far so good, just one major problem….. -(
After everything had completed in the restore functions I see the old site at the new address, but when I go to log in to the admin dashboard it redirects me back to the old sites address login?
I see the migrator has not updated the wp-admin page link?
What should I do as I cannot access the new site’s admin area?

October 11, 2014 at 1:39 am #41428SenaParticipantJust a bit more information, I get get redirected back to the old sites admin dashboard after login etc. ie i cannot access the new sites url dashboard as it keeps redirecting me.
AS a note I also tick “core wordpress files” in the back up. All the back up and restore went well with no errors and I did tick the “find and replace” option in the restore process.

Glad you got it fixed. If you still have trouble, send us the log file and database backup – then we can read them and see what’s going on.

I am not understanding why the migration is not working.

The plugin functionality is not changed after 12 months, no.
This forum is only for the support of customers with current paid-up support subscriptions, though – it’s not an all-comers forum. (It’s staffed by people on salaries that need to be funded!).

So here we go again
