    Hello,

We were wondering if it is possible to use SAS (Shared Access Signature) tokens when setting up Microsoft Azure (blob storage). The documentation indicates we should be using Access Keys: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/microsoft-azure-setup-guide/.

We are interested in using SAS tokens that are write only so bad actors cannot see the backups if they gain access to the SAS token. The current approach with Access Keys give full access to the storage account.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Thank you for your message. Currently the Azure remote storage option can only be configured with Access Keys. That said, using SAS tokens would still require the read permission on the blob container in order for the backup and restoration process to function correctly. I am sorry I could not be of more help with this.

    Best,

    Paul
