Migrate To New Domain

Hello there, I am trying to migrate my site to a new domain. I want to keep the old site but I also want to use the same theme and shopping cart of the old site and use it for the new site that is in a separate wordpress installation located in a sub-directory of the old site on a VPS.

The only problem is that when I migrate the files over to the new site, i cannot access the new sites url. It points me back to the old site in the browser. I am trying to clone my site with a different url. Is this possible with updraftplus?

Are you remembering to tick the search/replace box for the database? If you post a link to your migration log file (get it from wp-content/updraft on the destination site), then this would help us to see what’s up.
