Hello,

I’m trying to migrate/clone my website. It doesn’t work at all. I never get the option to choose search and replace, despite that all the addons are verified.

what can be wrong? I have tried to fix it for 3 hours now, it would probably go faster to do the whole process manually. I have sent u an email as well.

I have also tried to follow the manual instructions to add the search and replace directly into the word press files. Nothing changes.

to update, the only thing that happened was that the plugins were installed but not activated.

Hi Rasmus,

It sounds, from your description, like you haven’t included the database in the migration operation. Make sure that you are uploading the database backup (the db.gz file), and ticking the checkbox to include it, when migrating.

I could be more sure about this if you could supply the exact version number of UpdraftPlus you have installed (which encodes information about the add-on status), and the migration log file. Though, I’m pretty sure, from the description you’ve given.

Hi David,

I think that’s correct, But I’m having problem to adding the GZ file. The Dropbox always tell me to rename the file. I have tried all possible ways to rename it but it doesn’t work.

How is the proper way to right it?
