    Hi
I can’t migrate my site to my localhost (desktopserver). There is info, that it may be due to firewall. I am on windows 10 and desktopserver 3.8. Is there anything I could do to enable clonining to my localhost?

    Hi,

“localhost” is a special Internet address which means “this machine”. As such, you can never send data to “localhost”, because it doesn’t refer to any one specific machine. Instead, you will need to import the backup set into UpdraftPlus using a different method. e.g. Manually download the backup files, and upload them the ‘Existing Backups’ tab on the destination site.

    Best wishes,
    David

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the restoration log?
This can be found in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of the new site via FTP.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Best Wishes,
