Migrated but now get an error message

I set up my Xampp and installed an SSL cert. Then imported by back up files from my site that uses https.

Now when I go to by local site I get the error message “The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed. Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT”

What did I do wrong?

Hi,

Firefox is quite strict on warnings about ‘self-signed’ certificates (i.e. SSL certificates that were not issued by a trusted certificate authority).

When you see that error in the browser, you should be able to bypass the warning and add an exception to the browser.

You may also wish to double check that the certificate is still correctly installed.
