    Hi support

    First time using the software to migrate a site from my development server to a sub folder on the live server where the site will run from.
    Everything seemed to go ok except that places where a % character was present caused the character to be replaced with this code {1ae7a3004bacac7e26de1ccdcf3128f89c4d2e249faeb16a7555d03f6b148cb6}

    This happened on a site I am running the Divi theme and the divi builder uses percentage symbol as an option for padding – all of which were altered to pixels so had to manually fix.

    Forms use %%name%% for specifying the message format and they were all corrupted with the % symbol being replaced with the above code.

    Even text on a page where I had a sentence containing say 45% the symbol was replaced with the code.

    I have been through the site and manually fixed over 200 issues and worried that there may be more lurking I am unaware of until the site gets used in earnest.

    I believe I followed all the steps correctly – any ideas what may have occured?

    Regards

    Hi Cliff,

    Sorry about the delay and the issue you had.

    This is caused by an update in WordPress 4.8.3 which changed the behaviour of some of the functions we used to perform migrations.

    A fix for this issue was released late last night so should not affect any future migrations.

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    Best Wishes,

    Ashley
