    Hello:
    New to Updraft Plus Premium.
I’m attempting to migrate a site from a local server to the web.
I’ve tried 2 methods, both have failed.

    #1:
Backed up to dropBox, attempted to restore to new site.
It appeared to be successful, but none of the pages, posts, nor media are in the site. The Genesis theme and the plugins did transfer.
    Log is here:
    https://themilkmob.org/wp-content/uploads/tmp/UpdraftPlusLog01-DBox.txt

    #2:
Tried direct migration. Creating a key was successful, but migration failed with error:
Backup sent to remote site – not available for download.
    Log is:
    https://themilkmob.org/wp-content/uploads/tmp/UpdraftPlusLog02-directMigrate.txt

    Probably user error.
    Thanks.

    Hi Anne,

#1 – On this migration, when restoring, you didn’t include the database in the operation (only the plugins/themes/uploads/others). You need to include the database too.

#2 – That’s not an error message; it’s informing you that the backup was sent to the remote site. The next step is to log in on the remote site, and press the “Restore” button.

    Best wishes,
    David

    Thanks David.
    Another quick question:
We have 10 licenses. Is it possible to move them between WP Installs? If so, what is the easiest way to ‘unassign’ a license?

    Hi Anne,

I’m afraid that UpdraftPlus Premium licences are non-transferable between sites.
We usually recommend the Developer package if you anticipate needing to install UpdraftPlus Premium on a large number of sites.

We do have a tiered set of discount coupons for upgrading, available here:
