Dear Sir
I activated the plugin in network after installation but then after there was needed to activated from one local site in the multisite

do i need to activate on all the local site on the multisite for them to be backed up

usually plugin either activate only in network or local not both

Also
do you store data on the server or just temporary and you send to my storage solution
I do not want to bloat my server with many back up
I just need them on amazon s3

Hi Cyril,

Unfortunately, UpdraftPlus cannot backup individual sites from a multisite network. Because of how sub-sites are stored in the database, only the full network can be backed up. Be aware that if you do not network activate the plugin on a multisite, individual site admins will be able to backup and gain access to the entire network.

By default, UpdraftPlus does not keep backups on the local server if the backup has been uploaded to remote storage. To control this behaviour, there is an option in the expert settings called ‘Delete local backup:’
