I’ve installed my premium addon for my multisite network and it’s showing the message that i should get the Multisite addon, but I have already purchased the premium to include all of the Addons.
Once i’m inside the network i do see the “Updraftplus backups” but i do not see the “Updraftplus Addons” either through the root of the network or on any of the individual mini sites dashboard settings. I have become familiar with activating my account through this page but cannot find it to do so.
Suggestions?
Kyle
December 17, 2013 at 1:09 am #18436udadminKeymasterHi Kyle,
What’s the URL for the network? Possibly all the many migrations have caused something to get mixed up, and I probably need to reset the licence so that you can re-claim it on the right site.
Best wishes,

im really hoping to remedy this soon because im creating more and more sites but im not able to back them up with my favorite plugin!
December 19, 2013 at 8:12 am #18454udadminKeymasterHi Kyle,
Sorry for not being clear – what I need to know is what is the URL of the licence that you want resetting. i.e. You have 2 licences for all-addons, and I need to know which one of them to reset so that you can reclaim it for your new site.
Best wishes,
DavidDecember 19, 2013 at 8:13 am #18455udadminKeymasterHi Kyle,
Actually, I can see from the logs that neither seems to be in use – neither has requested info about updates for a while, so they both seem to be inactive. I just picked one to reset. You should be able to activate a new licence now.
Best wishes,
DavidDecember 19, 2013 at 6:43 pm #18460WtfmancmonParticipantok thanks, I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it and now i do see the Addons page for each subsite.I am still however not seeing any options in the Main Dashboard once I log into my multisite, should I?
And also when im on any SubSite even after connecting to my account through the addons page of the subsite i am still getting this message:
UpdraftPlus warning: This is a WordPress multi-site (a.k.a. network) installation. WordPress Multisite is supported, with extra features, by UpdraftPlus Premium, or the Multisite add-on. Without upgrading, UpdraftPlus allows every blog admin who can modify plugin settings to back up (and hence access the data, including passwords, from) and restore (including with customised modifications, e.g. changed passwords) the entire network. (This applies to all WordPress backup plugins unless they have been explicitly coded for multisite compatibility).
I also only ever see the “Migrate a WordPress site to a different location.” available to install via the Addons list. Don’t I have the Premium version where I get all the stuff?
Im sure we’re in different time zones here so im sure it’s not your fault, I just hate having to wait a whole day of development to get my answer. So if you will please sir do me a favor and determine if what I have purchased allows me all these features, and if not what I do need to purchase? And if i do need to purchase something considering I already thought I had the premium, is there a reduction on price for anything considering I already have a form of the premium?
Thank you!!
December 19, 2013 at 6:50 pm #18461udadminKeymasterHi Kyle,
I do apologise – I reset the wrong thing. If you now re-visit your “UpdraftPlus Add-ons” page, and press the button to connect again, then it should now show you that you can claim “All Addons” on the site. Claim it, and then it should show you an update available.
If you still see the above things after that, then please either send me a screenshot, or send me the WP login credentials and I’ll set it up for you (send to contact at updraftplus dot com).

December 19, 2013 at 7:00 pm #18462WtfmancmonParticipantok. now thats what im talkin about. Now i see it in the root network dashboard and Not in the subsites which is great, I thought I’d have to go into every dam subsite for backups :)
Ty for your quick reply btw.
Another maybe unrelated question is Im about to update my network from 3.7x to the new 3.8x, do you forsee any issues if i just backup the Whole multisite and then upgrade the WordPress and all the subsites to the latest version of wordpress? Might be a silly question, i just feel like i read somewhere that it was a more tricky process.
thank you! and btw this is my absolute favorite plugin in all of wordpress. migrations used to take me hours, now i do them at the starbucks in 15 right before my clients meet me, ha!!

It usually is – and 3.7 and 3.8 aren’t very different in the guts of WordPress, so it’s a low risk upgrade – most of the changes are at a high level. I’ve not had any problems with the sites I’ve upgraded so far.

December 19, 2013 at 8:58 pm #18464WtfmancmonParticipantok thankyou David for your response.
As you suggested I have sent you an email to: [email protected] for another issue im having. I’ve included my login for the site.
My backup doesn’t go through, it just stay about 30% on the Creating backup of the themes, and above it it says “next resumption: 2 (after xxx seconds)” – i feel like im sooo close to actually doing a backup! haha
December 19, 2013 at 9:01 pm #18465udadminKeymasterHi Kyle,
I logged in to the site you sent details for, and the backup had completed… I sent an email in reply 40 mins ago; it said:
Quote:That’s normal – it doesn’t mean it’s stuck. Most PHP installs (including yours) have a maximum time allowed for a script to run. It may not be enough to backup the entire website. So, UD has to schedule resumptions to pick up from where it left off.
Logging in to your website, I can see that it has now finished the backup.
If it still appears as stuck to you, then refresh the settings page in your browser.
