OneDrive backup settings

Hi,

This keeps appearing on my settings page for Onedrive:
“This site uses a URL which is either non-HTTPS, or is localhost or 127.0.0.1 URL. As such, you must use the main UpdraftPlus OneDrive App to authenticate with your account.”

I’m thinking that maybe it’s maybe it’s because a domain is not pointed properly to the server that’s why it cannot generate a URI.

Hoping I could get clarification to this as soon as possible.

Hi,

This means that your site is not set up to use HTTPS, so cannot use a custom OneDrive app.
However, by default, UpdraftPlus uses a centralised app through our servers.

I have explained further in your other thread.
