Resend to FTP

I am missing a nice-to-have option:

If I decide to create a local backup, it would be fine to have an option to transfer to FTP later (with additional option to delete it after transfer).

Why? when I decide to make a backup before Website-modifications, I normaly try to do it the fast way: Create a local backup without waiting for uploading it to a remote destination. When I have finished my work and I have enough time to upload it later, it would be fine, if I could decide to send it to FTP later.
