I’m having an issue with Resources being overwhelmed while Updraft backups are going on. I have three distinct WordPress sites. Two also are Multi-Site installations. ALL 3 sites are being dropped to useless states whenever I run an updraft backup.

I read your article at https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-much-resources-does-updraftplus-need/ . It seems the only point given which would assist me would perhaps be #5 regarding decreased Zip files size.

I am already running backups during the later hours of the evening. Would there be ANY more tweaks I can do????

Hi,

When running the backups, are they staggered or are all three sites scheduled for the same time?

What is the PHP memory limit for the site? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Advanced Tools tab.
