My website was moved a couple of months ago and I’m just finding out some files were lost. If I restore an older backup of my “uploads”, will it delete all newer uploads since then?
Hi Rose,
If you restore through UpdraftPlus then it will replace the uploads directory (wp-content/uploads) with the one in the backup.
But, what you can do is unzip the UpdraftPlus backup (it’s just a zip file, or multiple zip files) on your PC, and then upload the contents by FTP, so that you merge them.
