Resuming UpdraftPlus Backup Downloads

Hi,

I am facing a big trouble in downloading backup files without FTP access. The files are of few hundred MB each, and due to my slow internet connection, these are interrupted. I am unable to resume these, seems there is some session expiry in the URL.

Here are my two questions:

1. Is there any way I can download the files directly without using UpdraftPlus URL so I could resume it later?
2. Is there any way I could avoid the non-resume nature of UpdraftPlus download URL?

Hi Karim,

This depends on where your backup files are stored. If using a remote storage location, you can download the backup files directly from that location (UpdraftVault is available through your My Account page.)

If the backups are on the server, then the best way to download them manually is through FTP.
