Scheduled backups don’t execute when cron job fires

I’ve disabled WP Cron and defined real cron jobs, that fire as scheduled according to the server logs, but UpdraftPlus scheduled backups are not happening.

Hi,

Do you see any error in the “Backup/Restore” tab?

Could you also try adding the following line of code to your wp-config.php file (above the ‘stop editing’ line):
define( ‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );

This will enable the alternative WordPress Cron system. This is designed to allow scheduled tasks to be processed when the main WP Cron is not able to run.
