Hi,
I just purchased the Google Cloud Support add-on and I’m trying to follow the instructions on how to install it.
It is asking me to connect to my UpdraftPlus account by putting in my email and password. When I do so, I’m getting the following error:
cURL error 7: Failed to connect to 2400:cb00:2048:1::6819:9115: Network is unreachable
I have tried to edit wp-config.php by adding the following:
define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_IPV4_ONLY’, true); However this has not worked either.
Please assist!

Could you please ask your hosts to check if a firewall is blocking the cURL connection?

However, I have followed the procedure to set up Google Cloud, including setting up my unique Client Id, etc.
I have authenticated without error.
However, when I attempt an immediate backup, it gives an error in the log, saying No Google Cloud Storage settings were found.
I checked everything again and I have done exactly what the instructions ask for.
Please assist in getting this resolved.

I have narrowed the issue down to one error: apparently I don’t have access to the bucket I created.
Please explain how I go about configuring access to this bucket?
December 21, 2016 at 4:01 pm #185992Dee NutbourneModeratorHi Stephen,
Did you create the bucket manually through Google Cloud, or was the bucket created by UpdraftPlus automatically?
I will also split this into a new thread, as this is a different topic

I have tried both methods but neither works. At first I entered my project id and a new bucket name, hoping that UpdraftPlus would create it for me. That didn’t work – it gave an error, saying “you do not have access to this bucket”.
Then I went into my GoogleCloud account and created a bucket there. After that, I entered the new bucket name into UpdraftPlus.
I got the same error.

Can you check that UpdraftPlus has authenticated against the same Google account as your Google Cloud storage is in? If in doubt, you can re-authenticate.

I can confirm that it is the same Google account. I tried re-authenticating but I’m still getting the same error.
I think the best thing would be for me to get a refund on this add-on, as it simply isn’t working for me. Please advise how I can go about getting a refund?
Thanks –

To process a refund, please could you open a support ticket through our Customer Support Form?
In the body of the support ticket, please could you quote the URL of this thread?
