Stuck on Backup

Updraft gets stuck on back up. I reduced the split to 50mb and entered:
define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_PREFERPCLZIP’, true);
in the config file with no luck.
I’ve bumped up the memory to 64 and it is storing backups locally.

Hi Jason,

Please can you link the backup log file? Then we can take a look and advise. Please send a log file from a backup that began at least an hour earlier.

Best to remove that define – that chooses the slowest of the 3 available zip engines, so isn’t recommend unless analysis of the log file without it indicates it’s necessary.

Hi Jason,

There appears to be something on the server that is timing out the backup after approximately 120 seconds. Due to the size of the backup, this is causing the backup to run slowly (as each resumption has to wait to begin).

Could you contact your hosts and ask them to investigate if there is something timing out the backup early, and ask if they can raise this limit?
