UpdraftPlus and errors on migrating from staging to live website

Hi,
I have this discussion directly with the support but I want to give a hint to users who might see the same problems.
I tried to send a backup from my staging site to the live site. Keys are newly generated but as soon as I try to start the backup it writes this:
“… Response from remote site could not be understood (response_not_understood). …”

I found that the plugin WPML Multilingual CMS is the reason for the problem, as soon as I deactivate it, the backup is tranferred as expected.

I think this is a problem of linking because WPML redirects URL’s a lot.
The UpdraftPlus – guys should have a look at it and find a solution, I don’t think that this is a problem of WPML or that they could do something here.
