I have a problem, I set the backup schedule to weekly but it backups everyday. I don’t know the reason behind that and I don’t have any backup plugins that may conflict to it. So why is this happening? and How can I fix it?

Try setting the schedule to something else, saving settings, and then setting it back again and saving the settings again – does that fix it?

These are my screenshots for more detailed info.September 14, 2015 at 7:48 am #128250udadminKeymasterHi,
Please can you provide a link to your log file for the problematic backup? (You can download it from the “Existing Backups” tab of your UpdraftPlus settings page).
It’ll be too long to paste into the forum here, but you can download it to your computer, and share it with Dropbox, or paste it in pastebin.com, or any similar service, and post the link here.
The two screenshot links above ask me for a login – please can you use https://snag.gy or some other service that doesn’t require me to create a new login to view them.
Best wishes,

Try moving the backup time by a few hours – the log file suggests that the MySQL server was overloaded and dropped data.
BTW – those two screenshot links are the same; did you mean to send something else?

September 29, 2015 at 8:42 am #130246udadminKeymasterHi,
Can you install the plugin “WP Crontrol”, and go to Tools -> WP Crontrol, and post a screenshot of that, please?

September 29, 2015 at 11:26 pm #130345udadminKeymasterHi,
Thank you. The screenshot indicates that the schedule for both files and database is currently set to ‘Every 4 hours’. If you go to the UpdraftPlus settings, does it show that there? Can you change it to something different, and then save settings, and then reload the WP Crontrol page to see if it changes?

It changes, it’s set to 1 week when I set it on 1 week. https://snag.gy/NDhxz.jpg
Thank you for the fast support.

What I should do next?
September 30, 2015 at 8:51 am #130371udadminKeymasterHi,
Is it not now taking weekly backups?
David
October 12, 2015 at 2:04 am #131242vanjaParticipantYes it backups now weekly but why is it backup automatically? I don’t want to backup it automatically https://snag.gy/EEjaH.jpg.
And one more, In my gdrive there is so many backup on the same date but in my wordpress dashboard it only shows 3 backups https://snag.gy/TXdoG.jpg
