What happens to old site files?

I got Migrator Pro.

I want to migrate a new website to the domain where my old website resides. What will happen to my old website’s files when I migrate the new website into it? Are all old plugins removed? What happens to the old Media files? Just wondering. I would like them all to be gone.

Hi Manfred,

The old site files are moved into directories labelled with the suffix ‘-old’. UpdraftPlus then gives the option to remove all these directories. This will permanently remove the old files.
