Sometime later today, UpdraftPlus will pass over half a million downloads from wordpress.org – becoming only the 71st of approximately 28,500 WordPress plugins in existence to do so. (We’re just 92 downloads away, as I write this post).
With only a few days to go, it is now clear that UpdraftPlus has been downloaded more times in 2013 that any other backup plugin. UD has been the number one choice of backup plugin for WordPress users this year.
What an awesome year! We could never have dreamed it up. Thanks for your part in it. Together, we’ve proved that you don’t need a lot of time, or clever marketing to hit number one: you just need a better product with better support. The market will reward that, and has been doing for us. We’ve got plenty of big plans to carry on innovating WordPress backups in 2014 – and some other as-yet-unannounced products too. Stay tuned!
