UpdraftPlus today released the long-awaited mass updates feature in UpdraftCentral Dashboard.
For a few months now users have loved being able to use UpdraftCentral to manage and control all their Updraft backups from one place. More recently, users have also been able to also update themes, plugins and core from the same one central dashboard.
But from today it’s possible to use it not just update all your themes and plugins from one place, but also all at one time.
So if you have a number of sites with UpdraftPlus installed, this means you can click a couple of buttons in the UpdraftCentral dashboard, sit back and relax. All the updates will be queued and performed for you in a way that doesn’t crash the server.
The interface has various buttons to allow you to easily select or filter exactly what you want. Just want to update Akismet on every site? That’s easy – type in the first few letters in the ‘filter’ box, and only Akismet will show. This feature should save site owners hours, and it will be in all versions of UpdraftCentral (i.e. free as well as paid).
Managing WordPress sites whilst keeping them safe with UpdraftPlus backups just got easier!
