UpdraftPlus 1.7.39 is in the process of being made available. There are no new features in this version; only various tweaks and fixes for obscure corner cases. None of them are serious, but the update is recommended for all.
The most important is to deal with the fact that the new Google Cloud Console appears to have a bug in it; when setting up one of the settings for Google Drive backups, it then deletes part of that setting. The new version of UpdraftPlus works around that issue.
Note that this update is not the next major release, with the changes to the reporting and encryption features mentioned in this blog post. Those features remain unchanged for now.
