Multisite Subsite Backup/Restore fix

I have noticed that while the subsite backup/restore functionality works – it won’t work if the subsite has been deleted within the multisite. Would it be possible to introduce a fix for this so that perhaps it recognises a subsite by Name/Url rather than ID
