I was just updating my tools from the WP dashboard and got an unusual reponse from Updraftplus – it stopped all the updating of other plugins – I have stopped scheduled backups and any major work on this site until I am haopy that my backup and restore is working!!

Message as follows (came up in WP dashboard instead of expected update success note):

Note – without your advice I’d be inclined to deactivate, remove and re-install – pretty sure this leaves my backuos OK in the wp-content directory?? – just thought you may want to see this message AND IF i DON’T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING GREAT! – the site is largely in development so not urgent but there are a couple of commercial pages on it – need to do updates anyway.

Hi,

Did the error message above appear when updating UpdraftPlus itself, or a different plugin?

The message appears to be a raw output of a webpage. Something is causing the server to return a full page rather than a normal response.

Thanks David

I wasn’t watching intently but the previous plugin was the mojo marketplace – seemed to update OK – then it stopped whilst trying to upgrade Updraft plus – or after having done this – then delivered the message – following plugins were not updated.

I have just gone in to review the status – the Updraft Plugin says it is on Version 1.13.5

Is this up to date? – if so I suggest I do a manual backup – if it works put it back onto scheduled backups – does that sound OK?

Hi Tony,

It appears that there may have been a temporary communications issue between your site and our licencing server.

As such, it appears that your plugin has been reverted to the free version.

Please could you reinstall UpdraftPlus Premium from a fresh download (available here)?
You will need to refresh the connection to your account to reactivate the add-ons.
