    Whenever I try to install it by clicking “please follow this link to update the plugin in order to activate it” I just get to the update page and nothing happens.

    Hi,

    Can you please try to reinstall Updraftplus and make sure to download a fresh copy of the plugin from our install guide here – https://updraftplus.com/support/installing-updraftplus-premium-your-add-on/

    Then reconnect the plugin to UpdraftPlus.com by entering your username and password again using the ‘Premium/Extensions’ tab? After connecting the plugin, Updraftplus will prompt you to update the plugin to complete the install process.

    I have tried all of that and still got the error, please help.

    Can you then send me screenshot of the exact error you are getting please?

    Will do, I can’t send you an screenshot or at least I think it won’t help because whenever I click the “activate on this site” it just sends me to the wordpress update page which has no updates to show.
