My employer is switching to WPEngine which doesn’t allow this add on.
UpDraft is amazing and I’d like to renew my account and use it for a separate personal website.
As such I’ll need to deauthorize my account on one web host and use it for a completely different unrelated site.
Is that possible?

I wish I had something more positive to say in return – unfortunately it is not possible. This paragraph from the product description (
https://updraftplus.com/shop/updraftplus-premium/) is relevant:Q. Can I recycle licences from one site to another? A. No; licences are permanently assigned to specific URLs (i.e. site addresses, like http://www.mysite.com). However, you can re-install your site as many times as you like at the same URL and it will not need another licence. Note that we have very cheap upgrades to get more licences, including unlimited licences: please see here to get the coupon codes.
