Hi,
I have a domain that is used by wordpress and two tools in subdomains. The Backup is done by Updraft without any flaws so far. What I want to suggest here is that it would be nice to have the possibility to name the databases and folders, so that in case a backup has to be installed, nobody has to guess, which one is the right one.
For instance: The database is named just “external database (2)” but it would be better when it would be named “ticket system database”.
I think that is not a big deal at all for you guys!
Best regards,
Ralf

I just started using UpdraftPlus and agree this would be a handy feature. Would it be possible to add a label field for the external databases so that a short description may be added? Call the field something like “Descriptive Label”. Then use that name entered (e.g. phpBB Forum Database, Prestashop Database, etc.) on the file names (filenames replace spaces as underscore) and buttons for backup/restore if a label is entered. If no label is entered, use the current naming convention.
