Hello, Our company has a business plan with google for email and drive etc for our employees. We recently purchased updraft plus to backup our 3 websites but were wondering if we could make our backups save to a a shared drive rather than the drive of a specific employee account?
It would be really useful to us as a company to be able to centralise without tying our backup to a specific google account.
Many thanks!
I too would like this integration, been updraft subscriber for over a year, this feature would be huge for me.

Also looking for this.
Absolutely, vital for businesses
I’ve been subscriber for over a year as well, I thought I read a year ago they were looking to implement this then. But seems they still have not, hope to see this soon!

We used the Google Shared folder to backup the website, we can share that file, but this critical info is best shared with everyone.
yes, i am looking to do this too. Is this feature there? i can’t seems to backup to Shared Drives.
Yes, I am wondering too. I tried the path for the google drive folder of “Shared with me/foldername” and it just created a “Shared with me” folder at the top level, rather than using the existing “Shared with me.” This is an essential feature. Because right now UpdraftPlus authorizes blanket access to a Google Drive, which for a large shared drive is a security issue. So I’m using a separate account that has access to just one of my drives for backup – but it appears that U.P. can’t use it? I’m stuck….

+1 Actually important feature missing. Tedious to create a workaround. I hope they will add this soon, since its also not hard to implement.
+1 Would love to see that, too.
we also just purchased and are looking for this feature
This would be amazing.

This would be a great feature. I assumed it was there when I purchased updraftplus as few businesses want to store backups on employee’s personal google drive accounts as opposed to shared drive accounts…
Please make this happen!
Been 2.5 years since this topic was introduced. Doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen (at least with a Premium subscription). What is UP waiting on?
/any response would be better than nothing

We purchased the pro ASSUMING this would be the case and do not like the restriction. At this point, the agency owner needs to go in and configure/connect and have it in his personal account for our best procedures/data security. We’d prefer this to be managed by the team and our global settings, so please add this feature.
