The next UpdraftPlus release has a bonus for Dropbox users – faster uploads.
Until now, our Dropbox upload algorithm has used a flat upload rate. The new code instead responds to network conditions, and ramps up to send larger chunks as the the network proves capable. The bigger your site is, the more time you’ll save.
In a test of a 66Mb zip, this cut the upload time down from 76 seconds to 22 – a saving of 71%!
