When you restore from a backup, WordPress will automatically update itself to the latest version. That’s really problematic because many times (like what just happened to me), the update of WordPress is the reason why I’m trying to restore to a prior version.
Could you please put a checkbox or radio button that you can select when restoring a backup to do the following:
wp-config. php file:
define( ‘WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE’, false )
That would be SO much easier than modifying a system file before restoring.
