We are doing some media management using a virtual media folder plugin (FileBird in our case) and when doing backups, we have to backup the full media folder (which is pretty big), while actually a large portion of it is static and does not have to be backed up each time. These files are easily distinguishable by their FileBird folder, so we think adding the ability to include/exclude media files in the backups based on their media folders would be great. There are maybe like 3 or 4 very popular plugins that have to be supported in order to cover most of user base, I think.
