It would be nice if admins could see which plugins were updated and/or what else was done instead of only seeing that a backup was “Automatic backup before update”. Apparently, the log file does not capture this information either, so when someone sees several of these messages (especially on the same date) they have no idea what was updated.

The above post seems to indicate that Automatic Backups can actually be automatic. If so, it isn’t obvious.
What happens now, is I log onto my site’s back end, and the Dashboard tells me there’s an update. I have to manually tell Updraft to go ahead and run the backup. I may not log onto the back end for days, so any updates are delayed until I log onto the system. I shouldn’t NEED to manually click a button, it should all happen automatically.
What I would like, is for Automatic Backups to run when a plugin (or WordPress) has an update available. I have auto-update enabled on all my Plugins, so that I don’t have to check my back end daily. I get an email telling me what Plugin was updated, so the above problem isn’t an issue.
If there’s already a setting that will do this, tell me. I haven’t found it yet.
